Justin (JJ) and Penny Ready-Jarrett of Wapiti Ridge Outfitters have a great amount of gratitude for the opportunity we have been given to own and operate a business and way of living that we have been involved in most of our lives. Ranching, rodeoing, training horses, guiding and outfitting are who we are and what we do!
When you do what you love, you love what you do even on the most difficult days and that is how we, as partners along with our amazing WRO Team aspire to live each day! We take pride in having twenty plus years in the outfitting business from one of Wyoming’s most remote big game trophy wilderness areas to Sonora, Mexico’s desert hunting.
We are proud members of the Wyoming Outfitters and Guides Association. We work hard to ensure safety and success for our guests, team, animals, and the beautiful land and wildlife that we are so fortunate to enjoy and share with others.
JJ grew up in Montana in a rodeo family but has spent his adult life in Wyoming guiding, outfitting, owning, and operating hunting camps and training horses for twenty plus years. Penny grew up on a family ranch in Wyoming and had multiple generations of mentors who had the same love and respect for wildlife and the great outdoors. We believe in God, family, good friends, hard work, and having fun while taking care of the land, the wildlife, our animals, and sharing all this with you!
We love and enjoy every opportunity to show our guests the pristine land and abundant wildlife that Wyoming's Bighorn National Forest and Cloud Peak Wilderness have to offer. We are 100 percent satisfied in being able to invest in our passion and way of life with you whether that is during a spectacular summer horseback, backcountry camping, and fly fishing trip or a world-class big game hunting experience.
